FAQs
You're not local to me, do you travel?
Yes I travel all over the UK to weddings and events. An additional fee will apply beyond Essex and London, but I try to keep it reasonable just to cover the extra incurred costs on my behalf.

How do we book you?
Contact me at hello@sugarlensproductions.com to enquire about availability. Once the date has been agreed, I will send you an online booking form to fill in and send back. I require a £250 booking fee, which is non-refundable after booking.

How do you take payment?
You can pay me in cash (only in person), via bank transfer or Paypal. I will supply the correct details after the booking has been confirmed.

I have particular people and areas I want captured on my day, can you accommodate this?
You have most likely spent many months, even years planning your wedding - so I understand that you will want certain aspects captured in your video. These can be discussed in our informal pre-wedding chat, plus on the booking form.

What music do you use & can we choose?
For the highlight reel I choose licensed music so you can share the video with family & friends on social media without any copyright issues. I will give you a shareable link to pass around to your guests. For the full length video however, I will ask you to choose 3-4 songs that are special to you and I can create the edit to those songs. I kindly ask my clients to not share the full length film online, otherwise it might get blocked due to copyright.

How long does it take to receive the videos?
You will receive your highlights edit first, within 3-4 months of your wedding date. The full length film will be with you within a 5-6 month period, depending on season and workload.

My partner and I are camera shy - how can you overcome this?
My main concern is to capture the magic of your day, whilst making you feel relaxed and happy. I will never make you do something you will feel uncomfortable with. I know how overwhelming your big day can be, without being worried about being on film too - so I'm never pushy and will go at your pace.

Will we and our guests be distracted by you on the day?
As a videographer I am usually filming from a distance, so most guests won't even know I am there. There is nothing truly worse that a videographer that is in the way all the time. Of course, there will be moments that I will have to be in all the action, but I know when to move out of the way! On your big day, just enjoy it and forget about the cameras.
